Auburn vs Kentucky.. A Cold One!

Michael and I woke up Saturday morning and ran some errands... For the first time in weeks we were not out of town or in Auburn by early am to tailgate. Do not get me wrong both of those things I love.. but it was very nice to get some stuff done on a Saturday morning.. It was a cold morning.. We bundled up and headed to Auburn. Since we were not tailgating we decided to walk around a little and enjoy the city we LOVE...
It was been forever since we got our picture taken in front of the Auburn sign... I had to beg Michael, but he finally gave in and we took a few...

At Tiger Rags I was trying to get Aubie to lean down and give me kiss, but he just stood there....

The upper deck is my favorite place to sit.. I get to see the entire game and get a great view of beautiful Auburn... Watching the sun go down while in Jordan-Hare can't be beat...
With that Blue Sky and Orange Sun.. You know God is an Auburn Tiger...
Yes the upper deck is my favorite place to sit in Jordan Hare, but WOW does it get cold up there...We were all bundled up and were still cold....

Tailgating in Auburn on a football Saturday is AWESOME and one of my favorite things to do, but there is something to be said for just walking around and enjoying your surroundings...

Mandy's Wedding.. Part 6..The Bus Ride and the Hotel

The wedding might have been over but NO ONE was ready for the party to end.. So we took the party to the bus....

We were all beat, but we had an AWESOME weekend...
If you can believe it... I actually picked my favorite pictures to post.. That is right, I only posted a fraction of what I took.. And that fraction totaled 6 parts... Is that some kind of record??

Getting together with my high school friends always proves to be a blast..

After the ceremony it was time for the PARTY to start... We all headed right out to the dance floor and that was all she wrote... Oh yea there was a bar right beside the dance floor..

Friday after we hurry hurried and got ready for the Rehearsal... We got to the bus! The wedding was held around 45 minutes away from where everyone was staying, so we rode a big bus.
My big rollers were a hit.. One of the groomsmen said "Well we know she is married".. I guess he thought if I was single I would care more...

Mandy's Wedding.. Part 1.. Bridesmaid's Luncheon

Michael and I left Birmingham EARLY on Friday (10/9) morning to drive to Biloxi, MS to get there in time for the Bridesmaid's Luncheon. We got there with enough time to check in and off I was....
The Luncheon was held at this wonderful place right across from the Hard Rock Hotel (where we were staying). Years ago slaves were held there and the history goes on and on.
You can still see the water line from Hurricane Katherina, which is well above the door frame.
My Shrimp Salad was great and the Mimosas were flowing..
